British Soccer Challenge Camp
In June Edward participated in a British Soccer Challenge Camp, he loved it. It was his first time to play soccer. His coach said that he was good on the defense. He had a great time making new friends. He says he wants to play soccer again. He seemened to enjoy it alot more than he did playing Blast Ball.

Chef Edward
I got this cute little Personalized (it says Chef Edward) Chefs Jacket and hat online for Edward. He loves to help me cook and we watch cooking shows together all the time, so I thought it would be cute if he had his own Chefs Jacket and hat. We just got it today, so I wanted to take a picture before he got busy really cooking in it. Yes, this picture was taken in our new kitchen.Friday, April 18, 2008
New Pics of Edward and I
These pictures were taken at The Picture People when we were up in WA state last month. They even had us sign a release so they could use the pictures in their studio as examples. I particularly do not care for the jumping on. My favorite is the second one. However everyone just seems to get a big kick out of the jumping one.

What He Should Have Worn for Easter
Due to extremely abnormal freezing temps on Easter, Edward was unable to wear the outfit that I had bought him for Easter (seen below in the pictures), he had to wear Jeans with a short sleeve yellow (with blue and white stripes) polo shirt, and a coat to church for Easter morning. Crazy weather!!!

Easter Baskets
Just wanted to share a picture of the Easter Baskets that I made for Edward (the one with the bow) and Kirk. I despise the pre-done baskets. I enjoy making them up myself and customizing them to the person who is receiving them. What is your feeling about them?

EGGcellent
Edward loved dying his Easter Eggs tonight before we went to bed. Tomorrow daddy will take him for a few hours so mommy can deal with the Easter Basket and hiding the eggs in the house (too cold to do it outside) for him to find after they get back. Here is some pictures of him dying his eggs. I loved the dying kit we used this year, it was called Dunk An Egg, came with everything including the containers to hold the dye. Very easy clean-up. We only did 10 eggs (2 broke during the boiling process) this year, enough for our little family to enjoy some egg salad or deviled eggs later this week.

Finalized Floor Pictures
Thought you would love to see how our floors came out. We absolutely love them. The first picture is after the stain and first 2 sealant coats have been put on. The last 2 pictures of the finalized Floors after the 3 and final sealant coat was put on and dried. We still haven't been able to move things back into the room completely as I have to apply felt strips to the bottom of almost everything. Will post another picture once everything is moved back into the room and it is put back together.

Edwards Dedication
Yesterday was Edwards Dedication at Church, it went well. We were so proud of him, especially after all the fussing he had done about not wanting to do it. He went up to the front though like a little champ and even let the pastor hold him during his prayer for Edward. We got so many compliments on how cute he looked in his little sailor suit and hat.

Our 15th Anniversary
I was sure our Anniversary was going to pretty much be like every year (especially since Edward has come into the world), guess I was wrong (we didn't end up sitting at home and doing nothing). We went to a nice dinner at Carrabba's Italian Grill. Edward accompanied us. After we got sat down and settled in. Kirk ordered some wine and after dinner was order, the waitress looked right at me and told me she had something for me. She left and came back with a small dessert size plate. It had cherries on it and a beautiful ruby/diamond ring. Ruby's are the precious stone for 15 years. I will have to have it sized because they don't sell rings big enough for my chubby fingers so right now all I can do is wear it on my pinky and it is way to big to be a pinky ring. It was a great evening besides the fact that Edward was (and is) very moody the whole time. Just had to share, since everyone was interested in what we were going to do.
